What Do You Really Think About Violent Prayers ?

My reason for writing this about is to engage my readers especially teens nowadays to know what they think about what i call "VIOLENT PRAYER".

When I say VIOLENT PRAYER, I am simply referring to what the Nigerian society commonly known as "DIE BY FIRE !"

I have spent quiet sometime with some persons that practice this act, "VIOLENT PRAYER".
They made me understand that "the spiritual control the physical".

I will also like to share some commonly used terms by these "VIOLENT PRAYER" practitioners.
On this article I am sharing just two terms namely FOUNDATION & BREAK.
  • FOUNDATION:
"Say MY FATHER ! MY MAKER ! Every foundation" ...
The dictionary meaning of this word is said to be "the lowest load-bearing part of a building, typically below ground level" or "an underlying basis or principle". Meanwhile, the meaning of the foundation as per knowledge acquired from encounter with VIOLENT PRAYER practitioners, "this is a trending or say a reoccurring habit in a family from generation to generation" ...

For example, Clifford is the father of Michael. The father of Michael, Clifford is a Polygamist (married to more than one wife) because at that time being married to more than one wife is an evidence of being wealthy.

Michael got married to a first wife but married another (second wife) not because he wanted to show how wealthy he is like his father Clifford. Michael got married to a second wife because his first wife did not seem attractive to him anymore (the first wife got too fat for his liking after giving birth).

Michael has a son named, Roland.
Roland got married and his wife could not bare him children and for this reason he is opting for a second wife.

Now, can you see the circle of Polygamy  ?
This is what the Violent Prayer practitioners refer to as a FOUNDATION OF POLYGAMY.
As the case may imply, it could be a Foundation of Poverty, Foundation of Barrenness, Foundation of Suicide, Foundation of Rising & Falling, Foundation of Delay e.t.c.

Just make serious findings about your ancestors, draw a reasonable circle, know what the reoccurring act is and then the name is Foundation of ..... (you know what).

  • BREAK:
"Say MY FATHER ! MY MAKER ! Break every " ...

The dictionary meaning of the word Break is said to separate into pieces as a result of a blow, shock, or strain.

On the other hand, I found another dictionary meaning that gave a perfect definition to the word Break w.r.t. the Violent Prayer practitioners. Say the word Break means "an interruption of continuity or uniformity" for the Violent Prayer practitioners.

For example, with the real life scenario sited understand the explanation of foundation, there is a continuity or uniformity (foundation) of Polygamy.

Now, I believe you will have a good understanding of what I mean when I say "Roland has to break out of every foundation of polygamy in his life" ...
Say, Roland has to interrupt the continuity or uniformity of marrying more than one wife (polygamy) in his linage.

KNOWING THESE TERMS ISN'T ALL !!

The Violent Prayer practitioners are not only unique for using these terms because they go as far as making these used terms practical.

What I simply mean is, when they say they are breaking, they demonstrate by cutting the air with their hands or an instrument designed for the purpose of cutting objects; like actually breaking the foundation as if it is a physical structure right in front of them.

THIS IS WHAT I REALLY WANT TO ENGAGE YOU IN !!

Remember, like I said in the beginning of this article "the spiritual control the physical and vice versa". So, on spiritual basis what is your view of these demonstrations during prayers ?
  • Does something get broken, how ?
  • Do you really need to shake your head ?
  • Do you need to shake your entire body ?
  • Do you have to clap ?
  • Is jumping necessary ?
  • Is walking or running required for answered prayers ?
